Shaqcore Dalvin Prawl, 21

Shaqcore Dalvin Prawl, a 21-year-old black man, was fatally stabbed Friday, July 7, in the 2200 block of Valley Boulevard in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

Pomona police responded about midnight to a call regarding an assault in a residential area, according to Sgt. Bert Sanchez. Officers found Prawl suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:31 a.m., according to coroner’s records. 

Later that day, police arrested Chayenne Capri Lywood, 20, in connection with the stabbing, which detectives have called the result of domestic violence, Sanchez said. 

On July 11, Lywood pleaded not guilty to murder charges. She is scheduled to return to court July 24.
