Stacy Goff, 56

Stacy Goff, a 56-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, Oct. 7, near West 38th street and Broadway Place in Historic South-Central, according to L.A. County coroner’s records,

About 5:20 a.m., Goff approached a white pickup truck and someone inside fired multiple gunshots at him, said LAPD Officer Drake Madison.

He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:57 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

There was no known motive for the shooting, and authorities did not have a further description of the truck.
