Terrell Love Russell, 19

Terrell Love Russell, a 19-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, April 24, in the 9500 block of South Western Avenue in Gramercy Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly after 10 p.m., Russell was standing in front of a home when two black men approached, got into a brief conversation with Russell, then shot him, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.

Police believe both men opened fire on Russell. Russell was then found by a person walking by, according to coroner’s records. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:20 p.m.
