Thaddeus Randolph Risher, 49

Thaddeus Risher, a 49-year-old black man, was shot several times in the 100 block of East 82nd Place in Florence and died on Tuesday, Aug. 18, according to Los Angeles police.

Risher was sitting in his parked car at 2:05 a.m. when three people walked up. At least one person shot him several times, witnesses told police. Risher was taken to a hospital, where he died a short time later, police said.

Detectives have no motive in the killing, though they said they think it could be gang-related.
