Travis Anthony Solorio, 26

Travis Solorio, a 26-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Feb. 5, in the 9300 block of Tamarack Avenue in Sun Valley, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Solorio, who lived in Sun Valley, got into a dispute with a neighbor Sunday night, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Other people showed up during the dispute, police said, and one of them drew a gun and shot Solorio. He was pronounced dead a short while later at a local hospital.

Detectives had not established a motive for the killing, the LAPD said.

At least 21 homicides have been reported within two miles of Sun Valley since January 2007, according to a Times Homicide Report database.
