Triston Shariff Taylor, 32

Triston Taylor, a 32-year-old black man, was stabbed to death Saturday, June 2, in the 16100 block of South Ainsworth in Harbor Gateway, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Officers responded to several calls about a stabbing and discovered Taylor injured, said an official from the LAPD's Southeast homicide division.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died.

A day after the incident, Lashon Williams, a 24-year-old black woman, was arrested in connection with the killing.

Williams was in a relationship with Taylor, but the two were not married, officials said.

She has been charged with one count of murder and is being held at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood lieu of $1.05-million bail.
