Laquenia Lenise Glynn, a 26-year-old black female, died Monday, Oct. 21, after being stabbed in Pico-Robertson, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Francisco Garcia Flores, a 22-year-old Latino male, died Monday, Oct. 21, after being shot in Pacoima, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Alfredo Jose Arana, a 30-year-old Latino male, died Monday, Oct. 21, after being shot in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Steven Paul Castro, a 33-year-old Latino male, died Sunday, Oct. 20, after being shot in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Refugio Gutierrez-Gonzalez, a 40-year-old Latino male, died Sunday, Oct. 20, after being shot in Baldwin Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Efren Diaz Jr, a 19-year-old Latino male, died Sunday, Oct. 20, after being shot in Highland Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Daniel Vasquez, a 22-year-old Latino male, died Saturday, Oct. 19, after being shot in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Marcos Anthony Ortiz, a 27-year-old Latino male, died Saturday, Oct. 19, after being shot in Harbor City, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

David Vega Quincoza, a 21-year-old Latino male, died Saturday, Oct. 19, after being shot in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Edward Louis Doxie, a 58-year-old black male, died Friday, Oct. 18, in Historic South-Central, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Jerry Scott Bonds, a 26-year-old black male, died Friday, Oct. 18, after being shot in Mid-Wilshire, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Brenda Sierra, a 15-year-old Latina, was killed Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, in the 900 block of Miller Avenue in East Los Angeles, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s authorities.

Brenda, a sophomore at Schurr High School in Montebello, was on her way to catch a ride to school with her best friend just after 7 a.m. when she was kidnapped, according to the Los Angeles Times archives.

Her body was found the next day in the woods in Crestline in the San Bernardino Mountains. Authorities determined that she was kidnapped near Whittier Boulevard and Leonard Avenue and taken to a nearby home, where she was sexually assaulted. She then was taken to Miller Avenue, where she was bludgeoned to death, then her body was dumped.
