Broderick Edward Garde II, a 44-year-old white male, died Thursday, June 14, after being shot near La Cienega Boulevard & Pardee Street in Westchester, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Andre Pierre Warren-Cyrus, 18
Andre Pierre Warren-Cyrus, an 18-year-old black man, was shot and killed Thursday, June 14, near North Virgil Avenue and Middlebury Street in East Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Shortly before 10:30 p.m., Warren-Cyrus was walking alone on Middlebury Street when one or more people walked up and began shooting at him, said Los Angeles Police Det. Ray Martinez.
Warren-Cyrus was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:05 p.m., according to coroner's records.
The gunman or gunmen fled in a vehicle toward North Virgil Street. Police are trying to determine the motive.

Orbin Javier Ventura Navas, 26
Orbin Javier Ventura Navas, a 26-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, June 13, in the 400 block of East 102nd Street in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly after 12:30 p.m., Navas got into an argument with his roommate, who shot him, said Los Angeles Police Det. Nathan Kouri. The roommate then fled in Navas’ vehicle, a sedan.
Navas was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:09 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
It’s unclear what the dispute was over, Kouri said.
Pascual Palomares, a 47-year-old Latino, was arrested on suspicion of murder later that night in Adelanto, Kouri said.
Palomares has been charged with one count of murder with the allegation that he used a handgun, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Maurlan Janet Mcfield, a 61-year-old black female, died Monday, June 11, after sustaining blunt force trauma in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Francisco Antonio Penado Jr., 44
Francisco Antonio Penado Jr., a 44-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, June 9, in the 1100 block of East Artesia Boulevard in Compton, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Penado was driving his minivan in Compton, when he pulled into the Arco gas station at 2195 South Santa Fe Ave., next to the exit on the 91 Freeway, shortly after 6 p.m., said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Derrick Alfred.
Investigators were able to piece together what happened next from multiple witness accounts and “impeccable” surveillance video at the gas station, Alfred said.
The video shows Penado pulling into the gas station and his girlfriend and another male getting out of the minivan, Alfred said.
There was “a very heated exchange of words” between Penado and his girlfriend and the other male, Alfred said, then Penado drove away to the south end of the parking lot.

Omar Magana, 34
Omar Magana, a 34-year-old Latino, was shot and killed by Los Angeles Police on Saturday, June 9, in the 1700 block of East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly before midnight, gang officers from the Hollenbeck Division arrested Magana on suspicion of robbing a street vendor near North Broadway and Workman Street in Lincoln Heights, according to a news release from the LAPD.
Magana was taken to the Hollenbeck station, where he suffered a medical emergency, according to the release.
Coroner’s records state that Magana was “faking seizures.” Magana was taken to Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital, police said.
Magana was in a hospital room for a medical exam about 5 a.m., police said, and his handcuffs had been removed. After the exam, officers were attempting to put handcuffs back on Magana when he began fighting with them.

Mark Anthony Kador Sr., a 43-year-old black man, died Saturday, June 9, after he was shot in the 44700 block of 27th Street East in Lancaster, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Witnesses said Kador was acting peculiarly late that afternoon, standing in the street and taunting people driving by East Lancaster Boulevard and 27th Street East, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Derrick Alfred.
At one point, Kador allegedly tried to open the door of a woman's car when she stopped at the stop sign, Alfred said, and when he couldn’t get in, he banged on windows and jumped on the hood.

Jose Angel Arroyo, a 23-year-old Latino, died Wednesday, June 6, after he was shot at 1130 Peck Road in South El Monte, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Arroyo and his girlfriend went to the Shell Station at Durfee Avenue and Peck Road to purchase gas on Monday, June 4, and went inside the store to pay about 1:45 a.m., according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Derrick Alfred.
In the store, Arroyo, a gang member, “had a little conversation” with another man who was involved in a rival gang, according to Alfred.
The man returned to his car to pump his gas, and Arroyo and his girlfriend followed a few minutes later, Alfred said.
The girlfriend kept walking to their car, which was parked on the opposite side of the pumps from the rival gang member's vehicle, but Arroyo stopped, Alfred said.
