Julian Allen Hamori-Andrade, a 20-year-old Latino male, died Wednesday, May 30, after sustaining blunt force trauma in Angeles Crest, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Zachary Estevan Morrison, a 28-year-old Latino, was fatally shot Monday, May 28, in the 12100 block of 207th Street in Lakewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Neighbors thought they heard fireworks about 9:40 p.m. and discovered Morrison lying in the parkway between the sidewalk and curb on 207th Street, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Derrick Alfred.
The shooting was across the street from Artesia High School's sports fields, according to Google maps.
Morrison apparently had been walking in the area, about 1 1/2 miles from his Lakewood home, Alfred said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:55 p.m., on his 28th birthday, according to coroner’s records. The cause of death was listed as multiple gunshot wounds.

George Mc Claren, a 65-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, May 28, in the 3500 block of Normandie Avenue in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., Mc Claren was outside a Circle K when the man he was with got into an argument with a 26-year-old man who said he had stolen a bike, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.
The 26-year-old went to a vehicle, grabbed a gun and opened fire, striking Mc Claren, who was not the target, Garrido said.
Mc Claren was pronounced dead at 3:48 p.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records.
Carlos Smith, who is Belizean, was charged June 7 with one count of murder with the allegation that he used a handgun, according to police and the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Louise Marie Graham, a 52-year-old black woman, was found dead Sunday, May 27, in the 11200 block of Towne Avenue in Green Meadows, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly before 8:20 p.m., Graham got into a dispute with her partner, who strangled her and left the home, Los Angeles Police Det. Nathan Kouri said. Graham was discovered in a bathtub by relatives, police said.
Graham was pronounced dead at the scene at 9 p.m., according to coroner’s records. Records show she suffered from blunt body trauma and had drowned.
Her partner, identified as Edwin Jamal Rubin, a 38-year-old black man, remained in the area after the attack, and neighbors pointed him out to police, Kouri said.
Rubin was charged May 30 with one count of murder, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Frank David Finocchio Jr., a 46-year-old white man, was fatally shot Sunday, May 27, in the 2800 block of Fisk Lane in Redondo Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Finocchio was at home when he got into a dispute with his 19-year-old son, Vincent Maxwell Finocchio, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
During the dispute, the son shot his father and then called 911, Redondo Beach Police Sgt. Michael Martinez said.
Frank Finocchio was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:12 p.m, according to coroner’s records.
Vincent Finocchio was arrested that evening at the home and charged on May 30 with murder and allegations of using a shotgun in the killing, according to the district attorney’s news release.
He is being held in lieu of $3-million bail, according to the release. His arraignment was continued to June 29.

Albert Dewayne Kyle, a 49-year-old black man, was fatally stabbed Saturday, May 26, near East 107th and South Main streets in Broadway-Manchester, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 3:30 p.m., Kyle was inside his apartment when he got into an altercation with two other people whom he knew, said Los Angeles Police Det. Nathan Kouri.
One of the other people had a knife and stabbed Kyle, who in turn stabbed his attacker.
Kyle stumbled outside and was shot by the second person, Kouri said.
The assailant who was stabbed, identified by police as Gerod Harrison, a 33-year-old black man, was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injures, Kouri said.
The shooter, identified by police as Dean Morgan, a 28-year-old black man, was not injured, Kouri said.

George Leon McKinney, a 65-year-old black man, died Thursday, May 24, after he was struck in the head in the 8700 block of Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s investigators.
McKinney, a homeless man, was pushing a cart and walking south on Santa Monica Boulevard around 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, when he entered the intersection at Hilldale Avenue, according to Lt. Rodney Moore.
Investigators think someone came up behind McKinney and struck him in the back of the head, causing him to fall to the street, Moore said.
McKinney was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 10:36 a.m. the following day, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
