Allen Mirzayan, a 48-year-old white male, died Sunday, Jan. 10, after being shot by law enforcement near 481 Figueroa Drive in Altadena, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Salvador Esparza III, a Latino 4-year-old, died Wednesday, July 6, after he was shot in the 300 block of Figueroa Drive in Altadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 10:30 p.m. on July 5, Salvador had just stepped onto the front porch of a home his family was visiting when he was wounded along with a 27-year-old man, Lt. John Corina with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Deputies were flagged down after the shooting and led to the home, according to a news release from the department.
Salvador, who lived in Monrovia, was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:19 a.m. the next morning, according to coroner’s records.
About two hours earlier, one or two people got into an argument with another man, Corina said. The argument spilled into the street and people had to be separated.

Michael Paul Hernandez, a 62-year-old Latino male, died Monday, May 11, after sustaining blunt force trauma in Altadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Christopher Walker, a 26-year-old black man, was shot and killed Thursday, Oct. 30, in the 2500 block of Fair Oaks Avenue in Alta Dena, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 4:30 p.m. Walker was sitting alone in a chair on the outdoor patio at Fair Oaks Burger, said Lt. Holly Francisco with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A light-colored sedan drove up and a passenger got out and fired multiple times, striking Walker, Francisco said. “No words were exchanged,” she said.
The car fled east on East Calaveras Street. Detectives are seeking witnesses.

Robin Martin, a 47-year-old black man, was stabbed to death Saturday, Oct. 20, in the 900 block of Mariposa Street in Altadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Police say they received a call at 1:27 p.m. of a person stabbed. When they arrived on the scene, they found Martin lying on the street in front of an apartment building.
Martin was taken to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, where he was pronounced dead at 5:12 p.m.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested Martin’s wife, Breta Durham, a 55-year-ol black woman, on suspicion of murder. They recovered what they believe to be the weapon at the scene.

Stephen Bullock, a 33-year-old black man, was shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy Friday, Feb. 18, in the 900 block of East New York Drive in Altadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Deputies stopped two men in a vehicle for a traffic violation about 11:30 p.m., Sgt. Debra Herman said. Bullock got out of the passenger side of the car and ran, and deputies chased him.
After a couple hundred yards, Bullock stopped and struggled with one of the deputies, Sheriff’s Capt. Ray Leyva said. When he pulled a gun from his waistband, the deputy pulled his weapon and fired one shot at the suspect, Leyva said.
Bullock was pronounced dead at the scene. A gun was recovered from the location.
The deputy’s name was not released.

Brandon Jackson, an 18-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Feb. 12, in the 300 block of Palm Street in Altadena, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Jackson was leaving a party about 10:40 p.m. when he walked by a car and was shot, said Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office.
The victim was taken to Huntington Hospital in Pasadena where he was pronounced dead less than 15 minutes later, Winter said.

Jerrill Dulaney, a 17-year-old black male, was shot several times while walking in the 100 block of East Altadena Drive in Altadena Saturday, May 9, and died early the next morning, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Dulaney, of Altadena, was walking home from a friend’s house shortly after 11 p.m. when he was shot, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office. He was pronounced dead at 2:38 a.m. on Sunday, May 10, Winter said.
