Gregory Michael Sanchez, a 34-year-old white male, died Saturday, Nov. 8, after being shot in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Hector Ulises Robles, a 43-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, Sept. 14, in the 500 block of South Bernal Avenue in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 10:30 p.m., Robles was approached by a person who pulled out a gun and shot at him multiple times, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department. Detectives did not release a suspect description.
Officers in the area heard gunshots and found Robles, who was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene at 10:45 p.m.

Christopher Brian Ochoa, a 27-year-old white man, was shot and killed Thursday, May 29, near Euclid Avenue and Atlantic Street in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Ochoa was walking west on Atlantic Street near Euclid Avenue about 10:30 a.m. when a black mid-sized sedan pulled alongside him, said Los Angeles Police Det. Jose Ramirez.
A Latino got out of the sedan and fired multiple rounds, Ramirez said. Ochoa was pronounced dead at 10:41 a.m. on the sidewalk, according to coroner’s records.

Ricardo Hernandez, a 25-year-old Latino, died one day after he was shot in the 1600 block of North Soto Street in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Hernandez was walking out of a liquor store about 11:40 p.m. on May 3 when he was approached by a gunman who fired multiple shots, said LAPD Det. Jose Ramirez.
Nothing was taken from Hernandez and there wasn’t an exchange between the two, Ramirez said.
Hernandez was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead May 4 at 6:43 a.m., said Capt. John Kades with the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Ramon Gerardo Vera, a 25-year-old white man, was shot and killed Saturday, April 19, in the 2900 block of Glenn Avenue in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 12:20 a.m., Vera was in a parking lot at an apartment complex when he was shot multiple times with a 12-gauge shotgun, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
Vera was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:40 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Fernando Lino Ortiz III, a 26-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Wednesday, March 26, near East 8th Street and Marietta Street in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Ortiz was walking through a two-story apartment complex with a woman about 3:10 p.m. when three Eighth Street gang members approached and asked Ortiz where he was from, said LAPD Det. Jose Ramirez.
Ortiz said he was from "Puente," and the gang members — a woman, a man and a teenager — walked away, but returned within seconds. The teenage boy prompted the gunman to shoot, and Ortiz was hit multiple times.
The three then took the cellphone of the woman with Ortiz and fled on foot, Ramirez said.

Jesus Manuel Nunez, a 22-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Monday, Feb. 3 in the 2100 block of East Cesar Chavez Avenue in Boyle Heights, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
About 1 a.m., a security guard at a nightclub in the area heard gunfire outside and found Nunez, a Pasadena resident, lying on the sidewalk and another man who was shot in the back, said Lt. Carlos Solano of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Nunez was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:11 a.m., said Ed Winter, a coroner’s spokesman. The other man was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
The shooting occurred after a “verbal dispute” between the two victims and another group of people, Solano said.
So far, no witnesses have come forward.

Oscar Alberto Felix, a 25-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Friday, Jan. 17 in the 600 block of North Fickett Street in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 5:20 p.m., LAPD Hollenbeck officers responded to a shots fired call in the area and found Felix on the front porch of a home suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, according to a news release by the Los Angeles Police department.
Felix was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:58 p.m., said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office.
An autopsy showed that Felix died of a gunshot wound to the head, Winter said.
