Jordan Daniel Gonzalez, a 22-year-old male, died Saturday, Dec. 11, after being shot near 1364 W. 35th Place in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Paulette Jean Pleshae Lawson, a 31-year-old Black female, died Tuesday, July 27, after being shot near 1403 W. 37th Drive in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Kerin Quintanilla Ganuza, a 31-year-old Latino male, died Monday, Jan. 25, after being shot near 1629 W. 37th Place in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Deshawn Lee Ford, a 34-year-old Black male, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, after being shot near 1564 W. 36th St. in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Adoni Samir Sanchez, an 18-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Jan. 25 in the 3700 block of South Harvard Boulevard in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.
About 12:47 a.m., Sanchez was the passenger in a white Honda Civic traveling north on South Harvard Boulevard when he was shot, said Los Angeles Police Det. Rob Lait.
The driver of the Honda pulled over and called for medical assistance, Lait said.
Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene at 1 a.m., according to coroner’s records.
It’s unclear what kind of vehicle the assailants were in.

Keneth Baniaga, a 23-year-old black man, was shot and killed Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the 1700 block of West Exposition Boulevard in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 7 p.m., Baniaga was in a car when he was cut off by another vehicle, said Los Angeles police Det. Robert Lait. Baniaga and the person in the other vehicle were “aggressive” in each of their cars and ended up pulling over and getting out of their cars to fight, police said.
The two left, then returned to the area, police said. Baniaga brought a knife, and the other person brought a gun, police said.
Baniaga was chased and then shot, Lait said.
Baniaga was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:29 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

George Mc Claren, a 65-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, May 28, in the 3500 block of Normandie Avenue in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., Mc Claren was outside a Circle K when the man he was with got into an argument with a 26-year-old man who said he had stolen a bike, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.
The 26-year-old went to a vehicle, grabbed a gun and opened fire, striking Mc Claren, who was not the target, Garrido said.
Mc Claren was pronounced dead at 3:48 p.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records.

Axel Miron, a 32-year-old Latino, was fatally stabbed Wednesday, Nov. 1, in the 2100 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call of a stabbing in a McDonald’s parking lot at 3:45 p.m. and found Miron with stab wounds, LAPD Det. Dave Garrido said.
Police think Miron drove into the parking lot of the fast-food restaurant, got out of his car and got into a fight with a black man.
The attacker grabbed a knife and stabbed Miron multiple times, Garrido said.
Miron was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:18 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

Osvaldo Torres, a 49-year-old Latino, was fatally stabbed Sunday, March 5, in the 1500 block of West 35th Place in Exposition Park, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 7:53 p.m., officers from the LAPD’s Southwest Division responded to a call of a shooting about a block away from Denker Park, police said. A 42-year-old man told them he was standing near his car when he was shot; the victim was uncooperative with police.
Police then discovered that two others, Torres and a 37-year-old man, had been stabbed at Denker Park during a gathering with more than 50 people, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.
The 37-year-old was taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, and Torres was dropped off at a fire station in the 3000 block of South Hoover Street, Garrido said.
