Telish Gardner, a 49-year-old black male, died Saturday, April 25, after being shot near 1407 W. 80th St. in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
William Lloyd Thomas, a 61-year-old black female, died Sunday, March 8, after being shot near 7709 S. Western Ave. in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
Raymond Lee Lawson, a 58-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Feb. 22, near Halldale Avenue and West 83rd Street in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.
About 6:55 p.m., Lawson and a 55-year-old man were at a stop sign in a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban when a person walked up to the driver’s-side window and fired multiple rounds into the vehicle, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.
Both Lawson and the passenger were struck by the gunfire. The SUV rolled into a parked van.
Paramedics responded and pronounced Lawson dead at the scene. The passenger is expected to survive.
Police believe the gunman got into a dark SUV and fled.

Lathurman Williams, a 39-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, Nov. 1, near St. Andrew’s Place and West 84th Street in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.
Shortly before 10 p.m., Williams and another person were sitting in a black Buick parked along South St. Andrews Place facing north when two people walked up, said Los Angeles Police Det. David Dilkes.
One of the men asked Williams, “Where you from?” and shot at him numerous times, Dilkes said.
The other person in the Buick began driving away to call 911. The assailants ran, police said.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:08 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
According to an online fundraiser, Williams was a father of four and known as BoBo.

Leslie Andre Wakefield, a 26-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, June 14, in the 1900 block of West 78th Street in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.
Shortly after 4 p.m., Wakefield was sitting in the driver’s seat of a black sedan with a friend when a vehicle drove by and a person inside shot at them, police said.
Both men were wounded – Wakefield fatally. Police said no suspects have been identified.
His grandfather, Lee Carter, was mowing the lawn of the beige stucco home he’s lived in for more than four decades when he heard pops.

Depaul Demontae Herbert, a 27-year-old black man, was shot and killed Monday, May 20, in the 1700 block of West 84th Place in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.
About 8:45 p.m., Herbert was found slumped over in the driver’s seat of a light-colored Jaguar, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.
Herbert was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:04 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
Police believe that Herbert was sitting in his car when a vehicle pulled up and a person in the other vehicle shot into his car, police said.
The car fled west on West 84th Place. Detectives did not provide a vehicle nor a suspect description.

Baraka Shakid Mccraw, a 48-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Jan. 19 in the 2100 block of West Manchester Avenue in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.
Shortly before 5 a.m., Mccraw was at a party when there was an altercation between several people and he was shot, according to Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido. The party was held inside a business in a strip mall, he said.
Mccraw was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:05 a.m., according to coroner’s records. Police said Mccraw was not a gang member. LAPD detectives are looking for witnesses.

Andrew Nicholas Porter-Mitchell, a 21-year-old black man, died Sunday, Dec. 23, after he was shot near Manchester and Normandie avenues in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County medical examiner-coroner’s records.
On Dec. 20 about 11:40 p.m., Porter-Mitchell was driving a Mustang south on Normandie and stopped at a light at Manchester, said Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido.
A vehicle pulled alongside the Mustang and a person shot Porter-Mitchell, Garrido said.
Porter-Mitchell was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:35 p.m. Dec. 23, according to coroner’s records.
Detectives are trying to determine a vehicle and suspect description.

Sean Daveon Carter, a 22-year-old black male, died Thursday, Nov. 1, after being shot in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Jose Jorge Hernandez-Serrano, a 64-year-old Latino, died Tuesday, July 24, after he was assaulted near West Manchester and South Normandie avenues in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
On Sunday, July 22, at 8:20 a.m., Hernandez-Serrano was waiting for a bus with his wife when he was pushed by a pedestrian, said Los Angeles police Det. Chris Barling.
Hernandez-Serrano fell and hit his head, requiring hospitalization. He was pronounced dead two days later, on July 24 at 9:09 a.m., according to coroner’s records.
Hernandez-Serrano died from blunt force head trauma, records show.
Adrian Keith Somers, a 24-year-old black man, has been charged with one count of murder and one count of assault, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.
Somers pleaded not guilty Sept. 10 and is due back in court Nov. 19.

Joseph Louis Neal, a 39-year-old black man, died Sunday, May 20, after he was shot in the 8500 block of Cimarron Street in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 10:30 p.m. on May 19, Neal along with a group of more than 30 people, were gathered at a car wash and strip mall at a candlelight vigil for a person who died in federal prison of natural causes, said Los Angeles Police Det. Chris Barling.
A dark-colored sedan approached, driving north on Cimarron Street from Manchester Avenue, and a person fired multiple rounds, striking Neal and Shauntrell Darnell Matthews Jr., 21, Barling said.
The car continued north, police said. Neal was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:16 a.m. the next day. Matthews was pronounced dead at 10:38 p.m. at the scene, according to coroner’s records.
