Michelle Denise Dorsey, a 38-year-old Latino female, died Thursday, April 15, after being stabbed near 22825 Fir Court in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Sean Lewis Driggs, a 51-year-old white male, died Friday, May 15, after being stabbed near 23418 Lyons Ave. in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Raymundo Aaron Ceja, a 32-year-old Latino male, died Sunday, March 1, after being shot by law enforcement near 23700 Magic Mountain Parkway in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

David Edwin Koos, a 67-year-old white male, died Saturday, Feb. 15, after being shot near the 26300 block of Rainbow Glen Drive in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Brandon Nicholas Burris, a 25-year-old black male, died Sunday, Feb. 2, after being shot near the 19900 block of Golden Valley Road in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Gracie Anne Muehlberger, a 15-year-old girl, was shot and killed Thursday, Nov. 14, at Saugus High School in the 21900 block of Centurion Way in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.

About 7:38 a.m., Gracie was shot in her high school’s quad. Gracie was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 9:23 a.m., authorities said. The girl had just turned 15 on Oct. 10.

The shooter pulled a gun out of his backpack and opened fire on Gracie and four others, then shot himself.  The entire incident took 16 seconds. 

Authorities said the motive in the shooting was unclear.

Gracie was described by classmates as sweet and fun, someone who made a momentous impact in her short life.

Dominic Blackwell, a 14-year-old boy, was shot and killed Thursday, Nov. 14 at Saugus High School in the 21900 block of Centurion Way in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.

About 7:38 a.m., Dominic was shot in his high school’s quad. The shooter pulled a gun out of his backpack and opened fire on Gracie and four others, then shot himself. 

The entire incident took 16 seconds. The motive in the shooting was unclear.

Dominic was the oldest of four brothers, a football player with a goofy grin.

A friend said he was “a little guy with a big heart.” Dominic was remembered by friends and family as a jokester.

His Instagram page includes the name “comedian,” a clear nod to his budding comedic persona.

Anthony Martinez, a student at Canyon High School, called Dominic not just his teammate, but his brother.

Brent Scott Hariston, a 29-year-old Latino male, died Monday, July 30, after being stabbed in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Amy Suzanne Birnkrant, a 47-year-old white female, died Friday, Jan. 5, after being shot in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Drew Taylor Birnkrant, a 20-year-old white female, died Friday, Jan. 5, after being shot in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Sean Birnkrant, a 11-year-old white male, died Friday, Jan. 5, after being shot in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Juan Carlos Contreras, a 33-year-old Latino male, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, after sustaining blunt force trauma in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Brayan Jose Rodriguez, a 20-year-old Latino, died from suspicious causes on Sunday, Sept. 24, in the 23600 block of Via Valer in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County authorities. 

Deputies were called to the house where Rodriguez died about 3:57 p.m. with a report of a "person not breathing," said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Rodney Moore. 

Paramedics were unable to revive Rodriguez, Moore said. 

Rodriguez, who was from Valencia, was pronounced dead at the scene at 4:20 p.m., according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. The cause of death is still pending. 

Investigators aren’t commenting about the specifics of Rodriguez’s death, except to say it appeared he was strangled.

“Based on statements and other evidence, we believe that the crime of murder occurred,” Moore said. 

Deputies arrested Rodriguez’s friend, Christian Alexander Ortiz, a 21-year-old Latino who lived in the house, on suspicion of murder, Moore said. He was …

Ivan Solis, a 25-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Tuesday, July 11, in the 14900 block of Begonias Lane in Santa Clarita, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records. 

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area around Begonias Lane Park about 5 a.m. after a “shots fired” report. 

When deputies arrived, they found Solis lying near his bicycle with multiple gunshot wounds, according to a sheriff’s news release. 

Solis, a resident of Canyon Country, was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:27 a.m., according to coroner’s records. 

Friends and family told KTLA 5 News that Solis was a good person trying to overcome an addiction since the birth of his daughter. 

“I tell those who have someone in the streets or on drugs, you guys have to try to get them help,” Solis’ sister, Jessica Razo, said.
