Aaron Davelle Bascomb, 22

Aaron Bascomb, a 22-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, April 9, in the 100 block of East Hazel Street in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Bascomb was standing on a sidewalk about 11:17 p.m. when he was approached by two people and shot.

The victim was taken to a hospital in Lynwood where he died at 11:51 p.m., Winter said.

Man this is to crazy. I dont even know where to start, smh, i remember the very 1st time i meet you. i had just moved in with my aunt and Colina introduced me to her boyfriend....lol
yo ass!! & whats the 1st thing u said..hi u doing? This my big bro Mechi. LMAO. Well needless to say me & yo bro dated for about a year thanks to yo ass. Naw that lil intro went a long way & ment everything to me back then. (If u only knew what me & yo bro really went thru) every since then i just saw u as a brother. R.I.P to my EX., AARON BASCOMB my 1st true LOVE I will always & forever love you!! I miss what we had & I will never forget it! I still remember when we first met!!:)!! I remember how you tried to get with me for over a year but i wasnt having it because i thought you where a sweet talker ladies man.LOL!! But then finally I gave you a chance and mann that was the best relationship I have ever had!! I dont even remember why we parted but I do remember how much we loved and cared about eachother.!! You always had my back even after we broke up! My name is Adimika but most call me Misi i'm writing this to let the Bascomb Family know that im sending my deepest condolences on your loss of a loved one. I too along with my family experienced the same lost in the Inglewood area just 2 months ago when my cousin Ira(Tyrone)Koger III was gunned down at the age of 21 he too left behind a beautiful 9 month old daughter
There has got to be somekind of a wakeup
call out there in those streets. To the family pls do not let the inglewood police dept.sit on there ass and push this senseless murder to the back continue to ride them such as my cousin is doing we cannot rest til these demons are taken care..There are just too many brothers & sisters that are slowly falling by the wayside..thanks my prayers are with family and especially his son....lol

I Just Wanna Say That I Have Known Aaron Ever Since he was a baby his family and I go way back, his mom and I were like sisters back in the day,The news of his death saddens me tremendously.I can remember him as a little boy always smiling.He was the baby of the family a happy go lucky kid He is at peace now with the Lord.The last time that I saw Aaron was at a funeral for his cousin who was senselessly gunned down and murdered he wasn't even 18 yrs old when he died.This has got to come to an end we must pray to GOD for a divine intervention to stop these senseless murders.Aaron was a good person who lost his life for nothing I often wonder to God why do good people have to die in this way? Only GOD knows the answer to that question. My heartfelt prayers and condolenses go out to his family especially his mama,his siblings and his son who has to grow up without his dad.Just remember when the pain gets to hard to bare that GOD is still on the throne and whoever did this to him GOD will deal with them in this life or the next.To his mama, sista keep praying and try and stay strong...This is so sad...May the love of Jesus be with you all....Rest in peace Aaron

Aaron was my youngest brother. The last time I saw him was January 2007. The last time we spoke was on April 1st, he called to wish me a Happy Birthday. My little brother was loved dearly by everyone. I dont understand why this happened to such a good person. The best way I can describe it is that God gives us very special people or His Angels for a short time. I will miss my brother dearly. He was such a happy spirit. He loved to laugh, dance, and had a great talent for art. He was a wonderful artist. I believe his drawings are one of a kind. I will conclude but there is so much more I say. Aaron please know that me, your family and friends will do our very best to make sure "Aamir" is well taken care of. I know that he was the most important person on earth to you. I love you and will see you soon in Heaven.

My brother 4rm another mother ; Im so hurt that your gone ii just seen you that week at papa's house and ii gave you a hug and talked to you for minute and i was on my way but i was so glad to see you now im sad because it was my last time... Aaron was a big brother ii never had and im so glad to have him in my life,anybody who knew Aaron know's he was the sweets and kindest perosn in the world,and for that he has earned his wings in Heaven...I remember every time he came on pine street aka the P block he always came and spoke and shared laughs and talks with me all the time.Me and him use to fight like cats and dogs because we always bumped heads all the time and all that im go miss so muich , he was the best person to talk when i needed some one to talk to and he was the best person to chill with when ii just wanted to chill....Aaron 'Big Brother you will always be in my heart because you always had a spot in my heart ii love you and ill see you at them white gates in Heaven

Aaron "Scooby" Bascomb.. I remember when me & "A-DOG" first meet, he had just finished boxing with some of our teammates at Compton High School. Aaron was all pumped up because he went 2-0 and made someone nose bleed. I told him that he had "HANDS". He told me to get in the gloves, I laughed and said Child Please.. So I ended up catching a faded with him, it was GREAT. Aaron was so powerful & fast, and that's the way he lived his life. Aaron wasn't scared of anyone BUT "LOVED EVERYONE". It hurts me to know MY BEST FRIEND is gone, he had so much work to do. Tee,Myself,& Lake will for 4EVER LOVE YOU (N.A.D.) But the cool thing is YOUR SON WILL BE GREATER THAN YOU HAD EVER IMAGINED... Aaron this one will make you LAUGH BRO!!....(Remember when we all drove to Victor Ville & we went to that bang'N a$$ party, & on the way back 2 LA my dumb a$$ fella sleep, while I was driving & almost killed us all....LMAO!!!!! & we was running all over the 15Freeway. Then we finally got back home & my mom was PI$$ED because we F'd up her car...LOL!!!!!!! & she made yo catch the bus home at 6:00am in the morning...)
