Agustin Jorge, 18

Agustin Jorge, an 18-year-old Latino, died Thursday, Nov. 25, seven days after he was shot in the 400 block of East Hyde Park in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Jorge was at a liquor store about 3:30 p.m. Nov. 18 when someone walked up and shot him, said  Det. Kevin Lane of the Inglewood Police Department.

Authorities were called and Jorge was taken to a hospital where he remained on life support until his death Nov. 25. According to coroner's records, he was shot in the head and the right side of his back and abdomen.

Lane said Jorge was not a documented gang member, and it was unclear if the shooting was gang-related.

Witnesses to the incident described the assailant as a black male.
