Alan Charles Snipes, 42

Alan Charles Snipes, a 42-year-old Black man, was shot and killed Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the 1400 block of West 113th Street in Westmont, according to Los Angeles County medical examiner-coroner's records.

About 7:43 a.m., deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of a gunshot victim and found Snipes, according to a news release from the department.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Investigators didn’t say what led to the shooting and didn’t release any suspect information.
