Alejandro Rodriguez, a 29-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Monday, Feb. 2, in the 600 block of West 70th Street in Vermont-Slauson, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 8:15 p.m., police received a call of shots fired in the area and found Rodriguez, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are seeking witnesses.
It is unknown whether the assailant was on foot or in a vehicle, LAPD Det. Dave Garrido said.
