Amado Martinez-Bello, a 52-year-old Latino, was shot Thursday, Dec. 13, near the 1900 block of West Slauson Avenue in Chesterfield Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Martinez-Bello went to a fire station about 5:41 p.m. with gunshot injuries.
Paramedics were called and the victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:37 p.m.
Winter said it's unknown where the victim was shot. No other details were available about the case.
