Andrew Martin Rosales, 28

Andrew Martin Rosales, a 28-year-old Latino, was fatally shot on Friday, Aug. 14, in the 7000 block of Stewart and Gray Road in Downey, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Downey police responded to the area about 8:45 p.m. and found Rosales lying in front of a home with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:51 p.m., according to coroner's records.

Rosales was walking with Jehosua Ruvalcaba, a 27-year-old Latino, and two other men on Stewart and Gray Road, according to a press release. Rosales got into an argument with Ruvalcaba, who allegedly pulled out a handgun and fired several rounds. 

The other men ran west on Stewart and Gray Road after the shooting, which is believed to be gang related, according to a news release.

Ruvalcaba was identified as having horn tattoos on his hairline. He is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt.
