Angel Cazares, a 25-year-old Latino man, was shot multiple times in the chest and stomach at 12:40 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at the intersection of West Avenue 26 and Barranca Street in Lincoln Heights. He was taken to County-USC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
