Angel Francisco Torres Jr., 23
Angel Francisco Torres Jr., a 23-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Saturday, Jan. 6, in the 12200 block of Van Nuys Boulevard in Lake View Terrace, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Residents heard gunshots about 9:45 p.m. and walked outside to find Torres in an alley, police said. Investigators think Torres was standing in the alley when he was shot but are unsure whether one or more assailants walked up to him or were in a vehicle.
Torres was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:51 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
Detectives are looking for additional witnesses.
