Aniyah Shaneath Richards, 28

Aniyah Shaneath Richards, a 28-year-old black woman, was fatally shot Monday, Oct. 10, near the intersection of North Mountain View and East Holt Avenue in Pomona, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records. 

At about 2:30 a.m., Pomona police received a call about shots fired in the area, according to a news release. Upon arriving, they found Richards with several gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are looking for witnesses and following all leads.
