A story for every victim

Anne Goldner Weiss, 80

Anne Weiss, an 80-year-old white woman, died Saturday, Nov. 12, in the 3100 block of South Sepulveda Boulevard in Palms, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Police were called to Weiss' apartment about 8:30 a.m. and found her dead from blunt-force trauma to the head.

Anne’s husband, Milton Weiss, a 96-year-old white man, was arrested in connection with her death.

Police said that they had no motive for the slaying and that the husband suffered from dementia.

Neighbors told KTLA News that the couple had been having health problems recently.

"She had said she was having a lot of trouble with him," neighbor Sharon Queen-Ford told KTLA. "He was getting confused about things and would be angry about something that wasn't real."

Anyone with additional details about the killing is asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department at (877) LAPD-24-7 (877) 527-3247. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (800) 222-8477.
