Antoine Levelle Earley, 36
Antoine Levelle Earley, a 36-year-old black man, was shot and killed Tuesday, April 1, in the 15000 block of South Haskins Avenue in West Compton, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
Earley was walking to his black sedan parked in the driveway of a home shortly after 6:30 p.m. when a white compact SUV pulled up, said Lt. Eddie Hernandez with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. A black man in the right front passenger seat got out of the car, walked up to Earley and shot him, Hernandez said. The SUV then fled southbound on South Haskins Avenue and out of view.
Earley was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:25 p.m., said coroner’s spokesman Ed Winter.
