Antonio Paz Gonzalez, 43

Antonio Paz Gonzalez, a 43-year-old Latino, died Sunday, March 13, in the 4300 block of Worth Street in El Sereno, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records. 

About 9:30 p.m., several workers from a nearby business notified police about the killing after they were alerted by a driver who was passing by and made the discovery, said LAPD Det. Jose Ramirez.

Officers arrived at the scene and found Gonzalez in a taxi cab with several gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:45 p.m., according to coroner's records. 

Several shell casings were discovered at the scene, but it was unknown how many times the victim was shot, Ramirez said.
