Antonio Vargas, 49

Antonio Vargas, a 49-year-old Latino, was found dead Thursday, Nov. 12 in the 1500 block of East 92nd Street in Watts, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 6:20 a.m., officials said, a person walking by an alley found Vargas' body, which had sustained blunt force trauma to the head. Police said they believe his body was dumped in the alley, and that they looking into where Vargas was initially assaulted.

Vargas was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:30 a.m., according to coroner’s records.
