Arrest: Police capture man accused of killing 3-year-old boy
Authorities have made an arrest in connection with the death of a young boy who was shot on his birthday in 2006.
Pablo Adame, a 26-year-old Latino, was apprehended by police and taken into custody on June 9.
He's accused of killing Ethan Esparza, a 3-year-old-Latino, on Nov. 19 at his birthday party in Pomona. It's believed Adame intended to kill two other juveniles at the party, although mistakenly hit Ethan.
After the shooting, the injured boy ran into the house where he died in his mother's arms.
