Arthur Manchaca, 17, a Latino youth, was shot in the head at 21925 S. Claretta Ave. in Hawaiian Gardens about 10:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17.

Manchaca was taken by ambulance to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he died the next day at 2:30 p.m.
