Ashley Durrell Sampson, a 33-year-old black man, was shot and killed Wednesday, Sept. 26, in the 600 block of Lime Avenue in Long Beach, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Sampson was shot in the torso while sitting on his front porch about 8:50 p.m., according to officials.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A motive for the shooting is unknown. The assailants were described as two male adults.
