Baraka Shakid Mccraw, 48

Baraka Shakid Mccraw, a 48-year-old black man, was shot and killed Saturday, Jan. 19 in the 2100 block of West Manchester Avenue in Manchester Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s records.

Shortly before 5 a.m., Mccraw was at a party when there was an altercation between several people and he was shot, according to Los Angeles Police Det. Dave Garrido. The party was held inside a business in a strip mall, he said.

Mccraw was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:05 a.m., according to coroner’s records. Police said Mccraw was not a gang member. LAPD detectives are looking for witnesses.
