Bernardo Lopez, 39

Bernardo Lopez, a 39-year-old Latino, was stabbed to death Saturday, July 28, in the 2900 block of The Mall Street in Boyle Heights, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office, described the incident as some sort of domestic dispute.

Officials said they were summoned to the scene at 11:40 p.m. and that Lopez was pronounced dead at 11:58 p.m.

Coroner’s notes show that the victim sustained multiple stab wounds to the face, neck, and torso.
