Brandon Charles Harris, 35

Brandon Charles Harris, a 35-year-old black man, was fatally shot Saturday, Oct. 22, in the 700 block of West 104th Street in Vermont Vista, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly before 8:15 a.m., Harris was found in a parked Jeep by a passerby, said Los Angeles Police Det. Nathan Kouri.

The person noticed bullet holes in the Jeep, Kouri said.

Harris was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:15 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

After investigators interviewed residents in the area, police determined that Harris was shot around midnight, but no one reported hearing gunshots to police.

Police do not have a suspect description.
