Brandon Deandre Myers, 21
Brandon Deandre Myers, a 21-year-old black man, was shot to death Saturday, May 4 in the 1200 block of West 69th Street in Vermont-Slauson, according to Los Angeles police officials.
Myers was in front of a home at a small party about 2 a.m., when a vehicle stopped nearby, someone got out and fired several shots toward the residence, according to a police incident report. A second suspect also fired shots, according to the report.
Myers, who worked at LAX for Elite Line Services, ran inside the home to escape the gunfire and collapsed in the hallway. A woman was also injured.
Myers was taken to California Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:39 a.m.
Police have not determined a motive for the attack.
