Brandon Gerrard Morgan, 34

Brandon Gerrard Morgan, a 34-year-old black man, was shot and killed Thursday, Oct. 3, in the 300 block of West 220th Street in Carson, according to L.A. County coroner’s records.

Morgan had parked his pickup truck in his driveway about 10:55 p.m. when he was “ambushed” by multiple people, said Lt. Dave Coleman with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Morgan, who had been shot, ran into his garage and collapsed on the first floor of the condominium where he lived, Coleman said.

He was pronounced dead at 11:21 p.m., according to coroner’s records.
