Brent Anthony Marsh, 29

Brent Anthony Marsh, a 29-year-old black man, died Wednesday, June 17, after he was shot in the 800 block of West 56th Street in Vermont-Slauson, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 10:10 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, Marsh was standing in the street talking to a woman who was sitting in a car when a gunman approached and fired multiple gunshots toward Marsh, said LAPD Det. Dave Garrido.

Marsh was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead on June 17 at 10:57 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Police believe there may have been two vehicles involved in the shooting.
