Britany Johnson, 16, a black girl, died at a hospital at 10:17 a.m. Monday, July 30, after being shot multiple times in a parking lot the day before, near the intersection of Manchester Boulevard and Normandie Avenue in the LAPD's 77th Street Division, South-Central Los Angeles-Westside. Police suspect gang involvement. Police listed her as a gang member.
