Bryan Charles Forster, 35

Bryan Charles Forster, a 35-year-old Latino, was shot to death Friday, July 15, in the 700 block of South Catalina Street in Koreatown, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly after 1 a.m., Forster went to a man’s house, where the two got into an argument over an "ongoing dispute" and Forster was shot, said LAPD Lt. John Radtke. Radtke said the reason for the dispute is under investigation, but it could have been financial.

Forster was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:58 a.m., according to coroner’s records.

Edward Cabrera, a 41-year-old Latino, was charged July 19 with one count of murder, according to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office.

Cabrera pleaded not guilty Aug. 23 and is due back in court Nov. 29, a spokesman for the district attorney’s office said.
