Carlos Aguilar, a 25-year-old Latino, was shot and killed Sunday, March 16, in the 12000 block of Lowemont Street in Norwalk, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 1:40 a.m. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area and found Aguilar on the sidewalk, said Lt. Holly Francisco.

Aguilar was standing in the street when he was shot, Francisco said, but it is unknown whether the gunman walked up or drove by.

Aguilar was pronounced dead at 2:01 a.m., said Ed Winter, a spokesman with the coroner’s office.

An autopsy showed that Aguilar died of a gunshot wound. Anyone with information can call the Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

I love my husband well my fiance we were finally going to get married like we planed before having kids... I have been with my fiance going on 8 years of being together and having 3 adorable little boys a 5.4.3 year olds ...Carlos Aguilar he was a won derful and amazing father husband to be ...he was loved by everyone his coworkers and his friends family everyone respect him because he know what was in important to him and always put his family first before anybody else....everyone doubted him ...they never thought he could be successful in life well he showed everybody that he could do it he went to school to become a dentist assistant and became a dentist assistant they never thought that he can manage on his own and get his own place help me raise are kids manage his money in a bank account and buy two cars on his own without having to borrow from anyone.... Everyone would borrow from him because now he was making the money and he loved that everyone will come to him for help instead of the other way around...then this idiot comes and takes him away from all of us ....I still cannot believe that the love of my life is no longer with us . ... I think the hardest thing about this situation is that he took three little boys father away from them and they are always asking about there dad and when is there Dad going to come home and why did there dad leave them ....I have to explain to them why there dad is no longer with them you well never know how much it hurts me to see my kids go throw this because they don't understand why someone could do this to them ...... My kids and I are so angry we hate everyone we cant trust no one .....my kids and I have to go to see a therapy because it's so hard to deal with this pain we have ....you will never no how much pain you cause my family....rip my love Carlos Aguilar a very loving and caring father that we will all miss
