Chad Sokhan Hang, a 17-year-old Asian teen, was fatally shot April 1 in the 1300 block of East 11th Street in Long Beach, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.
About 11:48 p.m., Long Beach police responded to a call about a shooting victim, according to a news release. Upon arriving, officers found Hang with several gunshot wounds to the chest, the release said.
Hang was taken to a local hospital where he died at 1:05 a.m., according to coroner’s records.
Police do not have a motive or a description of the shooter, the release said.
