Charles Logan, 36
Charles Logan, 36, a black man, was shot and killed in the 1700 block of Reeve Street in Compton at about 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1.
Investigators said Logan had been in front of his house, standing in the driveway, when two black men or youths walked up to him. Words were exchanged, then there was gunfire. Logan was taken to Harbor-UCLA hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His time of death was listed as 10:02 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1.
