Christian Bojorquez, a 21-year-old Latino, died Wednesday, March 14, nine days after he was shot near 180th Street East and Avenue M in Northeast Antelope Valley, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Bojorquez was shot March 5, according to a Sheriff's Department news release. After the shooting, he was taken to a hospital where he remained until his death March 14.
Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Bojorquez was shot during a carjacking. He had no other information about the killing.
