Clarice Michelle Durrah, 45
Clarice Durrah, a 45-year-old black woman, died Thursday, Dec. 1, in the 4700 block of South Hoover Street in Vermont Square, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.
Patrol officers responded to a radio call and discovered the victim inside her residence at 9:10 a.m.
According to coroner's records, Durrah died from asphyxia suffocation.
An arrest was been made in connection with the death, but the person was subsequently released pending further investigation, said Det. D. Ross.
