Corey Donte Kahn, 25

Corey Donte Kahn, a 25-year-old black man, was shot and killed Friday, April 4, near South Lemoli Avenue and West 108th Street in Inglewood, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

About 11:49 p.m. Thursday, witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the residential area. Officers arrived and found Corey Kahn, 25, unresponsive on a sidewalk, according to a news release from the Inglewood Police Department.

Kahn was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:01 a.m. April 4., said Ed Winter, a coroner’s spokesman.

Witnesses saw a Latino man with a shaved head leaving the scene and entering a white vehicle with other people inside, said Capt. James Madia with the Inglewood Police Department.

The vehicle was last seen traveling eastbound on West 108th Street, Madia said.
