Daniel Esteban Pacheco, a 20-year-old Latino, died Tuesday, April 18, more than a week after he was shot in the 7300 block of Tampa Avenue in Reseda, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Pacheco was shot after getting into an argument at a house party about 10:30 p.m. April 9, according to Lt. Mike Kozak with the Valley homicide bureau.

Pacheco was taken to a hospital, where he remained in critical condition until April 18, when he was pronounced dead at 3:40 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

Police are following up with witnesses and trying to identify the suspect, Kozak said in an email. It was unclear what led to the dispute.
