Daniel Michael Baker, 50

Daniel Michael Baker, a 50-year-old white man, was found dead Sunday, Feb. 9, in the 4100 block of Wilshire Boulevard in Windsor Square, according to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records.

Officers responded to a call of a shooting about 1:30 p.m. and found Baker in an apartment with gunshot wounds, said Los Angeles Police Det. Sean Kinchla. 

Another person had found Baker and called police. 

Baker was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:54 p.m., according to coroner's records. 

Police believe Baker was shot the previous night and are trying to determine why.
