Daniel Xavier Williams, 18

Daniel Williams, an 18-year-old black man, died Saturday, Oct. 15, two days after he was shot near Pico Boulevard and Bonnie Brae Street in Pico-Union, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Ed Winter, spokesman for the coroner's office, said Williams was shot Oct. 13. The victim was taken to a hospital where he died two days later at 2 p.m.

Coroner's records show Williams died from a single gunshot wound to the head.

Winter had no other information about the killing.
