Dante Lamar Nolen, 41

Dante Nolen, a 41-year-old black man, was killed in a drive-by shooting on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, in the 1400 block of 107th Street in Westmont, according to coroner's records.

Police said Nolen was killed at 1:16 a.m. Saturday after he and another man left a party.

Two men in a dark-colored car shot at Nolen and the other man while they were standing on the sidewalk, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Nolen was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other man was hospitalized in critical condition.

Do any of you know how it really feels too loose someone so close too you like a ( mother , father , sister , brother , close friend ? ) , well hey here i am a 15 year old young lady , Dante`s daughter , i love and miss my dad so much his been gone for a year now , missing him like craazy in this outrageous world , his friends and all thought they new me but new nothing about me im his only daughter and everyone once told me the day i burried my dad , if you need anything im just a call away BullSh*t , i kid you not , i know everyone says alot of stuff they dont mean , im just out here living the fast life , with no man too worship but dad im right hear in hail while your in heaven doing your thang hope you living it up but be ready for me dad i`ll be there anydaay , just BEWARE Love your Beautiful Queen .
