Darnell Blow, 21

Darnell Blow, a 21-year-old black man, was shot and killed Sunday, Oct. 4, in the 500 block of West Colden Avenue in Vermont Vista, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Shortly after 1 a.m., Blow was standing in front of a home when he was shot, said LAPD Det. Dave Garrido. Although police have obtained video of the victim collapsing, it’s unclear if the gunman walked up to Blow or shot him from a vehicle.

Blow was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:24 a.m., according to coroner’s records. Police are looking for witnesses.
