Darnell Lamar Alexander, a 25-year-old black male, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, after being shot in Vermont Vista, according to Los Angeles County coroner's records.

Darnell I can't believe that it's going to be 12 years in August that you've been gone. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I glad to have witnessed you get saved at Peace Apostolic Church according to John 3:3, 5 & Acts 2:38. I glad to have witnessed you receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost Acts 2:4.

I really don't hate the person who chose to end your life, I just pity them and pray that they would acknowledge their sin, make amends to those they left hurting, repent and give their life to Jesus Christ.

I continue to pray that your death will not be in vain and that the person responsible for ending your life will be brought to justice on this side. Any ne with information please come forward.....

Almost 11 years have gone by since you've been gone. It's been a very emotional roller coaster for me. I think of you often and still can't believe I lost my second half (my identical twin) brother. I loved you dearly and I believe God has you in His keeping. I often pray for the unknown person who ended your life, while you stood in front of moms home. This tragedy is senseless, it don't make sense. The last thing I remember was seeing you three weeks prior as you gave your heart & soul to Christ at Peace Apostolic Church. Witnessing your New Birth (being baptized in Jesus name & receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost as evidenced by speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of god gives utterance) Acts 2:4, has given me the greatest peace.

Darnell for years I prayed for your soul that God would grant you repentance, but most of all eternal life. I can somewhat move on knowing to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, but part of me have no peace because the person who made the choice to end your life is still out there roaming the streets. I know you would want me to move on but bro. I will NEVER REST until that unknown person is brought before a judge and serves time for what he did.

I do want you to know that I honestly have no hate for the person who took your life. I pity him, I grieve for his soul because I know if he doesn't acknowledge his wrong doing and try to make amends with those he hurt (the family) and most importantly God, he will burn forever in the lake of fire.

I urge anyone with information about who killed Darnell Lamar Alexander, to please come forward, Thank You!
